Alpine Dash Cam with Driver Assistance Services (ADAS)

A dash cam is an on-board camera that continuously records the view through the front windshield of your vehicle. The recorded footage can be used as digital evidence in the event of a road accident, break-in or vandalism. When parked, dash cams can capture video and image evidence if vandalism is detected.

Alpine offers a high-end dash cam (DVR-F800PRO) that includes driver-assist features, as well as a regular recording model ( DVR-F200 ). Optional rear-view cameras are available for both models. You can use the convenient smartphone app to make adjustments and view recordings on the go.

The Best Recording Quality While Driving

The DVR-F800PRO records in Full HD 1080p, 30 frames per second and features the Sony Exmores STARVIS image sensor for excellent recording quality even at night. This allows you to record important details such as vehicle license plates to have solid evidence of events in a court of law. Geo GPS information and driving speed are also recorded.

Recording of Road Accidents

After entering the vehicle and starting the engine, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism. In the event of an accident, Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store video data ten seconds before and after a collision recorded by the 3-axis G-sensor. Dash Cam Viewer for PC & MAC

The intuitive and simple "Alpine Dash Cam Viewer" interface for PC and MAC allows you to easily view recorded videos. Playback and download recorded videos along with route history and speed recording. View and download the videos that the Dash cam recorded during parking mode. Driving Support and Danger Warnings

The DVR-F800PRO is equipped with additional technology to support you while driving and keep you safe. Lane Departure Warning warns you if your vehicle leaves its lane. Forward Collision Warning helps prevent or reduce the severity of a collision. Front Vehicle Departure Notification lets the driver know that the vehicle in front is moving away from an intersection. You can also upload a speed camera database to the DVR-F800PRO to receive alerts when you approach a speed camera or red light camera.

Lane Departure Warning System

Drowsy or distracted driving significantly increases the chance of an accident on the road. The lane departure warning system will alert the driver when the vehicle leaves a lane at speeds above 50 km/h.

Forward Collision Warning System

Accidents can be avoided by maintaining a safe distance. The DVR-F800PRO's forward collision warning system calculates the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you, while driving above 30 km/h on the highway or below 30 km/h on the a busy city 3-level early warning for the driver depending on the danger of collision.

Front Vehicle Departure Notification

When your car is stopped at an intersection or in traffic, the intelligent driving system informs you that the vehicle in front has started to move, preventing a delayed response if you have stopped looking ahead.

Speed ​​Camera Alerts

You can download the speed camera database via smartphone app to receive timely alerts when approaching speed cameras or traffic light cameras at intersections (legal operation of this function is subject to local traffic laws).

Day and Night Vehicle Surveillance

Recommended Accessories

Alpine offers a rear-view camera ( RVC-R800 ) that simultaneously records traffic through the rear window. This gives you an additional level of security while driving, as well as in parking surveillance mode. If you need more data storage, get the 64GB micro SD card (DVM-64SD).

No Interference with DAB and TV

Many dash cams interfere with the signal reception of DAB and DVB-T tuners. Alpine Dash Cams generate very low electromagnetic disturbances and therefore do not damage digital radio and TV signal reception in the car.

Power Options

The DVR-F800PRO includes a hard-mount harness that connects directly to your vehicle's battery and a cigarette lighter plug harness for easy DIY installation.
