Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in Nissan Elgrand E51 vehicles (WITH CARWINGS)

This fitting kit is suitable for Nissan Elgrand E51 (Series 3) models with CARWINGS. Models with CARWINGS have a control panel with directional buttons above the CD slot on the radio panel.

WE RECOMMEND PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION. The kit requires a blanking plate to be made for the climate control cut outs in the fascia panel, the original head unit needs to be taken apart and hidden in the dashboard and a switch for the cameras will need to be hardwired. This is not recommended for DIY

Fascia Adaptor

This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.

PLEASE NOTE

• Use the metal brackets from the original radio and fit to the new aftermarket radio
• The 50-669 fascia panel includes apertures for the climate controls that are not needed on cars with CARWINGS. On these cars, a blanking plate should be fabricated and attached to the fascia panel. This is not supplied, but we do offer 50-060 ABS plastic sheet which can be used to make a blanking panel.

Steering Control Adaptor

A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit. 

Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Nissan Elgrand cars with CARWINGS and a 20 pin connector at the back of the radio.
The interface allows includes power and speaker connections for the new radio and a breakout cable to retain the original head unit (hidden within the dashboard) to retain use of the top screen.
The interface and radio adapter cable is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.

Aerial Adaptor

An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.  

CARWINGS Side Camera Switch

Connects to the wiring for the original Carwings wiring and allows the user to swap between the original reverse and side cameras on the top screen.

Requires hardwiring and a 97mm diameter mounting hole in a suitable place.

Universal Patch Lead

Universal patch lead to be used with In Car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit.
This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.

This fitting kit is suitable for Nissan Elgrand models with CARWINGS.

Important Fascia Notes

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
