Fascia Adaptor

This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.

This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation.

Radio Replacement Steering Wheel Adaptor Interface

The CANBus interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio. The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs signals to the new stereo.

Aerial Adaptor

An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.  

Twin separate Fakra Aerial adapter cable for European cars that have amplified original antennas. Use with cars that have twin antenna both requiring power.

Universal Patch Lead

Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.

FOR UNBRANDED/ CHINESE HEAD UNITS YOU WILL REQUIRE A DEDICATED 49-000 PATCH LEAD 

This fitting kit is compatible with Volkswagen cars fitted with original RCD300, RCD500 or RNS-MFD-2 head units that have a twin Fakra antenna connection, Please see pictures below.

Important Fascia Notes

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
